Everton welcome FC Highland as club partners

FC Highland, a growing youth football academy in Florida, is joining forces with Everton Football Club in an exciting new partnership.
The Orlando-based club will be part of the Everton International Academy Affiliate Program (EIAAP), with the two clubs working together on program sharing, player development and coach education, among other things.
The link follows initial discussions in the summer of 2021, when Everton traveled to the United States for the Florida Cup and met with FC Highland officials to discuss shared club values and a common vision.
The EIAAP initiative offers clubs at all levels of the game access to the best coaching insights from Everton’s renowned Academy to support the growth of each club – a level of support that sets it apart from more traditional models.
These include:
– Full access to the Everton Academy program
– Weekly support from a dedicated Everton Academy coach
– Holistic approach to player, manager and club development, offering technical support from USM Finch Farm and Business and marketing support from the Royal Liver Building.
Everton international technical manager Paddy Byrne will visit FC Highland later this year to help share the Everton Academy curriculum and teaching methods used at USM Finch Farm, while working working closely with the club to develop the skills of players and coaches.
In turn, this provides FC Highland with additional knowledge and resources to help the club achieve its goal of developing the stars of tomorrow in Florida and the United States of America.
FC Highland staff, who are already affiliated with the Florida Youth Soccer Association and US Club Soccer, will have the opportunity to tour Everton’s state-of-the-art USM Finch Farm complex – home to the men’s, women’s and teams of the Everton Academy – for education and training.
