The Highland capital’s latest nightclub hopes to bring some glitz and glamor when it opens this week.
Jimmy Badgers will welcome its first customers tonight (Thursday) at 6 p.m.
The concept is a gin and fizz bar with a range of classic cocktails and a long list of creations by the three resident expert mixologists.
Owner Don Lawson, who also runs the town’s famous Johnny Foxes, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to add something new and original to Inverness.
“Our goal is to provide an experience that appeals not only to locals, but to tourists as well.
“We want to tap into the mystique and nightlife appeal of our great city by creating great food, a fantastic drink selection and we aim to provide a positive feel-good vibe through our outdoor lighting. ambience and our sound system.
“There is a mixture of Boujee, Art Deco and the Prohibition era in our interior design.
“JB’s will serve an extensive selection of premium wines, champagnes, proseccos, spirits and cocktails, carefully curated by bar manager Ruairidh Ross, formerly of Johnny Foxes, who brings Jimmy Badgers over 10 years of drinking experience and luxury catering, fusing tradition and innovation, the bar’s new exclusive cocktail menu has been designed with every guest and every sip in mind.”
Jimmy Badgers, on Church Street, is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. 11am-midnight Fri/Sat.
