SKIPINNISH are about to return to the capital of the Highlands for a pre-Christmas party with their fans.

The Celtic act that delighted a crowd at the top of the city in July will return on Friday December 16 for a concert at the Inverness Leisure Center – a sold-out venue last year.

Tickets for the Skipinnish show at Christmas go on sale this Friday (August 26) at 9 a.m.

The announcement follows their hit show Under Canvas in Stirling last weekend, the launch of their latest single, Summer Call, and their sold-out show at 5,000 fans at Bught Park in July.

A group spokesperson said: “2022 has been a great year for Skipinnish. It’s so good to be playing live again and we can’t wait to get back on stage at Inverness Leisure Centre, reconnecting with our amazing fans. I hope we can continue to “surf the seventh wave” together.

Claire Kidger, manager of concert promoter LCC Live, said: “Skipinnish has had a busy summer of live performances, as well as the launch of their new single last week, and their popularity continues to grow. We are delighted to welcome them to Inverness Leisure Center in December with special guest, Sandi Thom. It will be a festive atmosphere, a great opportunity to have fun as the holidays approach, so join us!

Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. this Friday from www.lcclive.co.uk and www.ticketline.co.ukas well as in person at Caffery’s Menswear at Eastgate Shopping Centre, Inverness.
