Tickets to the Vue cinema in the Highland capital will cost just £3 on National Cinema Day which takes place on Saturday September 3

To mark National Cinema Day, Vue Inverness is inviting film buffs to enjoy the best seats, screen and sound of the big screen experience, for just £3 per ticket (plus 90p if purchased online).

Vue will be offering this special event prize to mark the nationwide celebration on Saturday, September 3, which will be valid for all the latest big-screen blockbusters, family favorites and big-screen entertainment screenings taking place throughout the day.

Vue will showcase the latest releases, including Dizzying Perils of Autumn, a new thriller about two best friends stuck in a dangerously high position, as well as some of the summer’s biggest hits including sci-fi chiller Nope and Idris Elba’s wild Beast Tale.

Recent family films will also be available for moviegoers of all ages, including animated adventures with the DC League Of Super-Pets and Minions: The Rise of Gru.

Movie classics old and new will also return to the big screen to celebrate National Movie Day. Relive some sci-fi greats such as ET The Extra Terrestrial and Star Trek: The Wrath Of Khan or even the early Daniel Craig-era James Bond in Casino Royale.

Marvel’s favorite Spider-Man also returns to the big screen with Spider-Man: The No Way Home, The More Fun Stuff Version with additional scenes exclusive to this new version. Customers will also have one more chance to see Tom Cruise in the biggest movie of the year yet, Top Gun: Maverick.
